What Makes Club DiOGi Unique?
Our Enrichment-Based Model
At Club DiOGi, our commitment is to the health and well-being of the whole dog - from monitored free play, daily enrichment and training activities to resting in the zen room listening to classical music and enjoying veterinarian-approved, pet-safe aromatherapy, your pup will return home behaviorally improved and tired from physical exercise and mental stimulation.
Club DiOGi is an upscale doggy daycare, boarding and training facility. Each play group has a maximum of 25 dogs and is separated by matching play styles and energy levels. The smaller group sizes allow for the individual attention dogs desire and deserve from our human team aka "Rufferees", and the rotating play/rest schedule provides the time for dogs to decompress reducing stress, anxiety and behavioral issues that often result from being overly tired.
Our requirement that dogs come on a regular schedule creates consistency resulting in reduced exposure to disease and illness, the dogs build friendships, and we are able to create the safest and most fun, enriching daycare experience possible.
Our Facility
Our beautiful and clean, newly expanded 10,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor facility was designed to provide the cleanest and safest enrichment-based dog daycare environment possible.
We have invested in sound-absorbing technology to dampen sound within our facility proven to reduce stress for dogs. We utilize veterinarian-approved, pet-safe aromatherapy and classical music during nap time so our doggy guests are comfortable and safe.
Our clients have access to live webcams during our daycare hours to check in on their pups throughout the day. When dogs are boarding, we are staffed overnight to ensure the safety of our doggy guests.
Requirements
All dogs must:
- Pass a behavioral assessment during their trial day to utilize any of our daycare and boarding services. Trial Day: $50
- Puppies must be 18 weeks old and have the first three rounds of puppy shots
- Dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered
- Current on vaccines: DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella
- On a regular, topical / oral flea & tick control program. (Flea and Tick Collars are allowed, but we are not responsible for any lost collars as they come off easily during play.)
- In good health and have not been ill with or exposed to a communicable condition
- Be non-aggressive and not toy or water bowl protective and certify that dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive / threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s)
Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition, which could potentially jeopardize other dog guests. If your dog becomes ill with a communicable condition, we require veterinarian certification of health to be readmitted.
The safety and health of all our doggy guests is top priority.
We are delighted to answer any questions you may have, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Club DiOGi Family!
- Why are your prices more expensive than most?
Our daycare is not just a free for all environment. Our team is professionally trained to create a safe, enriching environment to prevent behavioral issues that often result from dogs attending an over-crowded and stressful facility. We offer small groups allowing for plenty of room for each pup to play with their friends. We not only provide the physical exercise dogs need, but much research has gone into creating an enrichment program that caters to the whole dog including live music, treat puzzles, K9 Fitness, Agility and much more. We are constantly researching new ways to improve the daily activities for our doggy guests so they go home behaviorally improved and well-balanced. Compared to other facilities who also offer an enrichment-based dog daycare model, we are in-line with and sometimes slightly less expensive. - Where are you located?
Our address is 2080 Cheshire Bridge Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30324. Our parking lot can accommodate 6-7 cars, and you may also use the 2100 parking lot when ours is full. - Why is your daycare and boarding only for little dogs?
We have created a space that is safe for the little guys. If you've ever been to another doggy daycare, you have probably observed dogs of all sizes mixed together. Due to their small frames, a big dog could cause harm unintentionally just by stepping on them. - Do you offer facility tours?
There are certain areas that are available for public viewing/tours, but we do not do tours of our playrooms or zen rooms as we have found it is too disruptive to the dogs. Once you enroll in daycare, you will have access to webcams in the playrooms and outdoor yards to see the areas restricted to the public.
Meet The Team
Our team is Pet First-aid and CPR trained and enrolled in PackPro continuing education programs so that you can rest assured your little buddy is in loving and capable hands while at the Club!
Courtney DeDi
Owner
Courtney DeDi has loved animals since she can remember. Though she was not allowed to have any furry pets of her own growing up, she always was the first volunteer to bring home the class guinea pig, rabbit or hamster. Eventually, she was allowed to pick out a pet bird she named Pretty Bird. Since the days of longing for a furry friend, Courtney has become the proud mommy to Cosima aka "The Goo", a Havanese Poodle Mix and a sweet kitty named Suzy Q.
She has been working in the pet care industry for more than 20 years, is a PetTECH Pet First Aid and CPR instructor, is a member of the ASPCA, has volunteered for many different Humane Societies, organized fundraisers for EARS – (Emergency Animal Rescue Services) during the Hurricane Katrina Rescue Effort, aided in the Hurricane Harvey Rescue Effort, worked as a dog handler and Assistant Manager for Central Bark Doggy Day Care in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and regularly gives back to local pet rescue groups. She is a graduate of the National Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program, has been named top 40 Under 40 Leaders in the US by Business Equality Index, was the recipient of OUT Georgia's Rising Star Business Award, and received the honor of being the SBA's LGBTQ Owned Business of the Year in 2020.
Courtney began DiOGi Pet Services in 2010 and grew her dog walking and pet sitting company to be one of the largest and most trusted pet care companies in Atlanta. While the dog walking and pet sitting days are in the past, she is excited about the future of Club DiOGi providing the best care and safest social environment for the little dogs of Atlanta.
Emily
Operations Manager
Emily is the General Manager at Club DiOGi. She never met a creature she didn’t love – dogs, bugs, goats, you name it! Little Emily begged for a dog as soon as she could talk, but her family was sadly allergic. Instead, she had a multitude of other pets throughout her life that she loved fiercely, including fish, rabbits, cats, and a parakeet named Merlin who was her magical companion for over 9 years.
Now Emily shares her life with Stella, a resilient 12-year-old blind Italian Greyhound mix, and EJ, a supremely regal and wildly affectionate all white kitty. Stella and EJ are the center of her world and have taught her so much about life, love, and optimism.
Emily loves to be in nature - hiking, backpacking, and exploring the world with Stella, EJ, and her boyfriend, Jesse. She also loves to cuddle on the couch with her fur babies and binge watch Netflix. Life is about balance.
She has her BA in Business Marketing, graduating with honors from Georgia State University. Emily’s background is in both government and nonprofit worlds, but she has truly found her passion working with the precious pups at Club DiOGi. She is thrilled to be working alongside an incredibly caring and knowledgeable team of animal lovers to deliver a happy, healthy, and enriching experience for the dogs in Club DiOGi’s care. It is genuinely a dream come true!
