Dog Training

Club DiOGi's trainers use reward-based methods to address basic training needs and puppy training as well as behavior issues like fear and reactivity. We work with dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and ages. Club DiOGi Trainers adhere to the Humane Hierarchy by following a least intrusive, minimally aversive (LIMA) approach to training and behavior modification. To learn more, click here.

Initial Consultation

Ready to begin 1 on 1 private dog training? Or are you not sure which training route to take? Then our consultation is where you should start! During our consultation, our trainer will take a thorough behavior history of your dog, observe your dog's behavior, design a training plan, and give you management techniques. If you choose the 90 minute consultation, we will begin training as well!

Day Training Sessions

This is a great option for the busy dog parent or family. This is an incredibly effective way to train or reinforce your dog's training in their home environment while you are at work. Instead of sending your dog to a "boot camp" where the training is taking place in an unfamiliar environment that rarely translates to desired behaviors at home, we'll do the work for you in their home! Club DiOGi offers day training for daycare guests in their home away from home.

The Day Training Program is 4 or 8 weeks long depending on the package choice, with, ideally, 2 training sessions per week totaling 8 or 16 training sessions. Every 4th training session is with the owner to make sure you are keeping up with all that your dog is learning!

After your dog completes the full 4 or 8 week day training sessions, you can book individual sessions on an as needed basis.

Private Training

Private lessons are specifically tailored to you and your dog. They can take place in your home or out in the community... Where ever you and your dog need the most practice! We will design a training plan during our consultation and carry it out in private lessons!

A mileage fee of $1/mile will be added to any training session that is further than 10 miles from our office.

Puppy Socialization

Requirements: Puppies must have received at least their first round of vaccinations, be between the ages of 6 - 18 weeks old, and be under 35 lbs when fully grown

Start your puppy off on the right paw by attending our Puppy Socialization Classes during your puppy's prime socialization window, 6 - 18 weeks of age. Unlike most puppy socialization classes you will find, we make an effort to familiarize your puppy to things dogs usually become scared of when they enter their next fear period if they are not exposed early. For example: skateboards, startling noises, a variety of textures, wobbly surfaces, etc...

Polite Pooch

Requirements: Completed Registration form including a copy of your dog's vaccination records and a signed copy of our liability waiver

*For puppies and dogs 18 weeks and up -- not appropriate for dogs who are reactive or aggressive on leash towards other dogs or people*

Do you have a troublesome terrier, hard-headed hound, or a mouthy mutt? We are here to help! Our Polite Pooch class covers all of the basic behaviors such as sit, stay, down, loose leash walking, come and more! We will also address issues like jumping and mouthing. This group training class will help your dog become a polite member of the family!
